MISSION STATEMENT
The Sonoran Desert Karting Association is established and dedicated to the purpose of promoting the sport of kart racing and its safety throughout southern Arizona. Its goals are to increase participation and public interest in the sport, create a cohesive relationship between the membership and the International Kart Federation as well as other National and Arizona kart racing associations in an overall program of competitive racing to further memberships' interests
The members of the Sonoran Desert Karting Association, Inc., race karts utilizing moto and other specialty engines and drive components. Their specifications are restrictive depending on class in order to emphasize driver ability more than design or preparation of the kart.
SDKA is a not for profit, family oriented organization dedicated to the enjoyment and furthering of kart racing and to use our sport to support local charities and to make the sport of kart racing available to those individuals who’s physical limitations would otherwise prohibit their participation.
SDKA’s format provides a high level of camaraderie and opportunities for racers to share a wealth of knowledge and assistance.
